Real Estate Acquisition Manager

Salary: $80,233 - $111,115 USD per year

Serve as our client's primary representative for the acquisition and disposition of real property interests. Manage legal proceedings, oversee lease agreements, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide support for property-related projects and assist in budget planning.

• Acquire and dispose of real property, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.

• Act as an Agency representative in legal proceedings, including eminent domain cases.

• Develop and negotiate lease agreements for client facilities and properties.

• Maintain a comprehensive database of the client's real estate interests.

• Oversee property-related contracts, including appraisals, surveys, and environmental assessments.

• Provide support to other departments in identifying property needs.

• Supervise Real Estate staff.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Transportation, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in real property acquisition/disposition, facility management, or project management, preferably in transit or development.

• Texas Real Estate License and/or Senior Right of Way Agent certification preferred.

• Management/supervisory experience required.

• Ability to interpret complex materials such as engineering plans and environmental reports.

• Strong understanding of transit operations and project management.

• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Earth, Adobe, and/or ArcGIS.
