React Native Engineer

Hybrid ROle - Dallas, St. Louis or BentonVille, AR

RATE: $60-65/hr C2C MaX

What is React Native?:
  • React Native is an open-source mobile application framework created by Facebook, Inc. It is used to develop applications for Android, iOS, Web and UWP by enabling developers to use React along with native platform capabilities
Skills:
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience as hands-on Front End Engineer on Android/iOS
  • Expert in Android/iOS Mobile App Development with React Native technologies
  • 3 years of experience in JavaScript and React Native/Redux
  • Familiarity with OOP design principles
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical plans
  • Understanding of CI/CD , Unit testing and deterministic functional testing, End to End automation
  • Just to reiterate, I will mention our process below.
  • Write modern front-end JavaScript using frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, and Immutable
  • Implement new features while prioritizing user experience and modern design
  • Refactor existing code and fix bugs while prioritizing stability, consistency, and simplicity
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams, both technical and non-technical
Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing web-based user interfaces
  • JavaScript proficiency
  • Unit testing framework integration and development
  • Write maintainable code in a functional style
  • Work productively in a dynamic environment
  • Take ownership of your work
  • Contribute to design and architecture decisions
Ideal Experience:
  • Effective working knowledge of accessibility verification tools, assistive technologies, and accessibility standards
  • Strong background in web development with HTML5, CSS3 (particularly flexbox), JavaScript
  • Experience with assistive technologies across multiple platforms, including screen readers, magnification, and read-aloud tools
  • Web or UI programming with an emphasis on user experience
  • Current JavaScript frameworks, tools, and methodologies, such as React, Redux, and ES6
  • Functional programming
  • Leading a technical discussion
  • Git or similar tools
  • Single-page web applications
  • NodeJS and server-side JavaScript
