React Developer

An employer in Houston, TX is looking for a Sr. React developer to join their team. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows using Redux. Candidate needs to have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, excellent front-end coding skills to ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. Other daily responsibilities will include creating enhancements/development for new user-facing features, building reusable React.js components and front-end libraries for future use, optimizing components for maximum performance, and troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes. This individual must have strong written and verbal communication and be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $55-60/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands on React development experience
5+ years experience designing and implementing system solution
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
In-depth knowledge of popular React.js workflows such as Redux
Experience with different JavaScript libraries for data visualization
Experience with Leaflet a JavaScript library for interactive maps
Experience with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous O&G, Liquids, or Gas industry experience
