This ongoing consultant will be 5 days in the office and focus on the delivery of process and control testing within the BSA/AML and Sanctions functions. Along with this, the consultant will be providing SME knowledge on RCSA testing and practices, conducting TCSA testing and developing strong working relationships with team members.

Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With its full-fledged services, our client specializes in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business.

Description

Perform risk assessments related to the RCSA, following the Process, Risk, and Control Standard, along with the RCSA Procedures set by Operational Risk:

Identify the Compliance & Legal Departments specific processes and design process flows, pinpoint risks within these flows, and establish controls to mitigate those risks
Create and maintain a control inventory and any other relevant documentation
Develop a control testing plan
Execute control testing, report findings, track remediation of control issues when applicable, and validate issue resolution documentation

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required

  • 5 years relevant experience (a plus to have worked for a foreign bank)

  • Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, and/or QA testing is a plus
  • 1+ years' work experience in the development department or data analysis department of Bank is required;

  • Skills: SQL, VBA, Python, MS Access, Qlik/Tableau;

  • Experience with DDL, Database Performance Tuning, ODBC, SQL Server, Oracle;

  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not required

  • Local to NYC and available for work
