MedMan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RCM Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for patients and payers regarding billing and account inquiries. You'll play a key role in supporting the revenue cycle process by providing exceptional service, resolving billing issues, and ensuring accurate and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Timely Call Returns:
    Returns patient and payer calls promptly, ensuring timely follow-up on all inquiries. Maintains a calm, friendly, and professional tone, even when addressing difficult or complex billing concerns.
  2. Quick Learning & Adaptability:
    Quickly grasps billing concepts and workflows, even without prior billing experience. Demonstrates initiative in learning systems, terminology, and processes relevant to the revenue cycle.
  3. Patient Communication:
    Clearly and confidently communicates with patients about their bills. Remains calm and composed during challenging conversations, explaining information in a way patients can easily understand.
  4. Payment Collection:
    Confidently discusses patient balances and collects payments with professionalism and empathy. Comfortable initiating payment conversations and knowledgeable about available options such as payment plans or financial assistance.
Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfortable engaging with patients, team members, and external partners.

5. Basic Technical Comfort (Preferred, Not Required)
  • Familiarity with computers, email, and basic software is helpful.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
