Choice Hotels, one of the world's largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Rate Success Coordinator in the Franchisee Care Division. The Franchisee Care Department is the team that is responsible for onboarding new hotels to Choice as well as supporting them via troubleshooting Choice technology, processes and procedures. As a key member of our Franchisee Care Division you will support all aspects of reviewing, monitoring and taking necessary actions that ensure rates across various Choice, OTA, GDS and other distribution channels are accurately loaded, available and visible for sale.

Your Responsibilities
  • Partners with training functions to ensure accuracy of team knowledge bases
  • Documents and communicates project, program, technical, content and compliance changes or issues
  • Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of various and critical Rate availability dashboards and reports
  • Reviewing and identifying issues and taking quick necessary actions to mitigate and resolve
  • Serves as a first point of escalation within the team for researching and troubleshooting complex rate issues
  • Work case intake from OTA, GDS and Travel Agencies and troubleshoot and resolve
  • Work to ensure hotel availability of rates and inventory on all channels to support maximum revenue potential for all hotels, and Choice
  • Solve problems and keep work intake moving within the team, including escalating and tracking as required
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
  • Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED), college education preferred
  • 3+ years of working in a customer service/customer-facing capacity is strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of working in a technical/systems help desk environment preferred
  • Past experience within the hospitality industry and hotel operations required
  • Extensive knowledge of hospitality distribution channel and central management systems a must
  • Advanced customer service skills/training preferred
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills required
  • Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration experience

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Channel Support and Strategy Manager. You will have 6 peer teammate and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Rate Success Coordinator, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
