Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a future opportunity for an Range Lead Supervisor - Student Support Services for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) or "the Facility" . FLETC is host to approximately 88 participating agencies/bureaus and responsible for providing certain core instructional law enforcement programs as well as a variety of support services. FLETC has on-facility housing for approximately 1800 students and occasionally houses additional students off facility in local motel/hotels. The Facility and participating agencies have a staff of approximately 500. Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC will be responsible for Project Management, Quality Control, Equipment and Uniform Issue, Recreational Support, Audio Visual, Educational Aide Support, and Role Players. Range Lead/Supervisor manages a full-time range staff providing student training support for all classes in session. Range staff must maintain storage areas for all firearms related equipment and supplies in an organized, orderly, and neat manner and issue, collect, transport, and secure all training weapons (including storage of personal weapons and NLTA), ammunition and other supplies used in support of firearms training in a safe and secure operating environment and in accordance with all FLETC Directives, SOPs, and Processes (Directives). This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. Ensures support is provided for all training and oversees the proper storage of all firearms related equipment and supplies. Manage the issue, collection, transportation, and security of all training weapons, ammunition, and other supplies used in support of firearms training in a safe and secure operating environment and in accordance with all FLETC Directives, SOPs, and Processes (Directives). Payrate: $26.38 to $29.26 Hourly REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: At least two years' experience in weapons maintenance and gun repair for semiautomatic handguns, rifles, shotguns, and specialized weapons systems and experience in range operations (military or police). A graduate of a recognized agency Gunsmith/Armorer or Range master school for law enforcement, such as the National Rifle Association, military service school, federal service school, etc. Possess a valid driver's license and be able to complete government-provided training to perform Hazardous Waste Satellite Accumulation Area and Universal Hazardous Waste management responsibilities in accordance with the FLETCOAO Hazardous Waste Management Plan and obtain Tier II access for SASS scheduling and TAMS support.
