Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) (Float)
Position Summary:
Seeking a PRN (0.0 FTE) Radiologic Technologist for day shifts to provide imaging and X-ray services as a float technologist across multiple clinical sites in the Castle Rock, Colorado, United States area. This role involves direct patient care and performing radiologic procedures with focus on technical skill and patient well-being.1 Compensation is based on relevant experience within a specified hourly range; benefit eligibility is determined by FTE status.
Work Locations:
This float position requires travel to and work at the following clinics: Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Sterling Ranch, Quincy, and Steele, Colorado, United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic examinations as directed by physician orders.2
Review patient histories relevant to imaging procedures.
Administer contrast media or related medications while conducting patient monitoring.3
Observe and document changes in a patient's condition during procedures.4
Ensure optimal image clarity, equipment functionality, and quality control measures are met, adhering to established standards.
Provide patients with necessary education regarding their procedures.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist educational program is required.5
Must hold current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Any required specialty ARRT certification(s) and state licensure must be obtained if mandated by law.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer is required prior to start date and must remain valid for at least sixty days into employment.6
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay rate ranges from $27.61 to $41.41, determined by relevant experience.
