PERM Direct Hire.

Pay Range: $32.58 - $56.72/hr

Shift Options: SEE BELOW. Holiday rotation, on-call rotation (3x/yr)

  1. 1- 4x10's- Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun- 9:00pm-7:30am
  2. 1- 4x10's - M-F (w variable day off)- 7:00a-5:30pm
  3. 1- 4x10's - M-F (w variable day off)- 7:30a-4:00pm
  4. 1 - 5x8's - Days: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm
  5. 1 - 5x8's - Evenings: M-F 3:00pm-11:00pm

Requirements:

  • ARRT can be new grads that still need to sit for registration
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school in Radiologic Technology
  • CPR

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for multiple X-Ray Technologist to join a large team supporting a well-known hospital system in Washington, DC. Below are the job duties the candidate will be responsible for:

Performs a full range of diagnostic radiographic examinations in the department, clinics, and operating room.

Ensures that radiation safety precautions are taken.

Adheres to the policies and procedures that apply to the performance of obtaining radiographic studies, including performing a correct, exam, including laterality, on the correct patient at the time requested.

Provides basic information to patients and/or families concerning procedures to be performed and is able to answer questions if asked.

Assists the Radiologists in performing special radiological examinations.

Assists with the upkeep of radiographic equipment and adhere to all related safety requirements and reports needed for equipment repairs.

Ensures timely completion of all exams through tracking, scanning, and another technical workflow as related to Radiology Information System (RIS, Enterprise Radiology Solutions (ERS), and Enterprise Electronic Record (EMR).

Operates digital and fluoroscopic radiographic equipment.

Participates in orientation and other opportunities for learning as delegated by the department, other hospital staff, and students.

Exemplifies SPIRIT values, and actively participates in Patient Safety Standards and tasks.

Coordinates and collaborates with Technical Aides to ensure efficient room turnover.

Coordinates, communicates, and collaborates with Patient Financial Associates that register radiology exams to minimize delays and potential safety issues for the outpatient population.
