Summary
As a Radiologic Technologist at Texas Health Resources, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position is essential to our mission of improving community health by delivering accurate evaluations and supporting patient care across our facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and CT scans with precision and care.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures by following established protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and adherence to safety standards.
Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained.
Educate patients on preparation for imaging procedures and post-procedure care as needed.
Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in patient care.
Qualifications
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
Proven experience in diagnostic radiology or related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential.
Familiarity with CT imaging techniques is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
OR/Surgery and/or CT experience is preferred.
