The role you'll contribute:
The Radiology Technologist under the direction of the Office manager/Clinical Supervisor performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Maintains current, valid CPR certification and Radiology certificate.
Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
Uses a gonadal shielding when possible for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients.
Develops and processes radiology film.
Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensures that reports and/or films are available for the physician in a timely manner.
Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes routine paper work. Types and files reports as requested.
Minimum qualifications :
High School graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a recognized Radiology Technology program
Licensed Radiologic Technologist Current, valid State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license
CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist Current, valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists certification
BCLS - Basic Life Support
Preferred qualifications:
1+ Year medical office experience preferred

Pay: $23.25 - $40.08 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
