Description:
Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity ensuring the principles of ALARA are achieved. Participates in the department quality improvement processes ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department's patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice
Qualifications:
Current and valid FL Certified Radiologic Technologist License and BLS required. Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology. Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred. ARRT Radiography certified or eligible. Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc. Change agility and flexibility a must.
Sign On Bonus Eligibility:
Sign On Bonus is only for Full Time and Part Time Single-Modality and Multi-Modality positions in the Imaging departments at Mariners Hospital (MH) and Fishermen's Community Hospital (FCH)
To qualify, candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience required.
New hires must begin their Full Time or Part Time employment within the Single-Modality and Multi-Modality positions in the Imaging departments at MH and FCH between August 25, 2024 through May 31, 2025.
Candidate must successfully complete Baptist Health's pre-employment process, be hired, and remain employed in good standing with Baptist Health during the payout period.
New Hire Sign on Bonus payout is for a 3-year commitment period.
New Grads and candidates with less than 1 year of experience are not eligible.
Current Baptist Health South Florida employees are not eligible.
Former employees of Baptist Health South Florida or any of its affiliates who left the organization during the previous 12 months are not eligible. Former Contract Workers who ended assignment at Baptist Health South Florida or any of its affiliates within the previous 6 months are not eligible.
