Description:
Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity insuring the principles of ALARA are achieved. Participates in the department quality improvement processes insuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department's patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take information, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice. Estimated pay range for this position is $25.74 - $33.46 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
High School Diploma or GED
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support.
Certified Radiologic Technologist.
ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
Additional Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
Change agility and flexibility a must.
