We are hiring a Physician - Radiation Oncology for Perm positions in Coos County, OR.

Job details:

  • Start: As soon as credentialed
  • Shifts: Shift as assigned, Full time; 80 hours per pay period
  • Provide a broad range of Radiation Oncology services to patients
  • Collaborate with the Oncology Service Line Administrator as a cooperative and collegial team member
  • Perform clinical care tasks, including consultations, outpatient clinic work, and inpatient rounding
  • Exercise good judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities concurrently
  • Work effectively under stress and frequently changing job requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
  • Professionalism with consistent quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care
  • Wide spectrum of radiation oncology skills, including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SAbR, SRS, 4DCT, and DIBH
  • Proficiency with software interfaces such as Aria, Mosaiq, Eclipse, MIM, Pinnacle, EPIC, and Cerner
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch
  • Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond to patient care needs
  • Adequate hearing, visual acuity, and color vision required
  • Fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and the ability to handle objects
  • Use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair, or wheelchair
  • Follow standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
  • Communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or over the phone

Job Requirements:

  • Board Eligible (within 2 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • OR License (or willing to obtain)
  • Fellowship-trained in Radiation Oncology
  • Experience practicing radiation oncology with a strong record or an excellent recent graduate
