Position Overview: Facility is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with expertise in mammography and breast biopsy procedures to cover a vacancy due to the resignation of a previous radiologist. The position involves reading studies of all modalities in addition to performing diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies.
Responsibilities: - Schedule:
- Preferred: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM each week
- Will consider three consecutive days in a row if needed.
- Call Requirements: None
- Duties: Reading all modality studies and performing diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies.
- Required Procedures: Breast Biopsies
- EMR/Charting: Cerner
- Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, and other support staff.
- Reason for Coverage: Resignation of a Radiologist.
Qualifications: - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (REQUIRED)
- Active California License (REQUIRED)
- Residency Training in Diagnostic Radiology (Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies REQUIRED)
- BLS/ACLS and DEA Certification (REQUIRED during credentialing)
- Clean Malpractice Record (Highly Preferred)
