The Bronx, New York - Radiology Division Lead of Nuclear Medicine Opportunity Available

• The very prominent Department of Radiology is seeking a highly qualified and visionary Division Lead of Nuclear Medicine

• You will oversee and expand all advanced services at four clinical sites, including general and cardiac nuclear medicine, SPECT, SPECT-CT, PET-CT, and theranostics.
• You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering both internal and external collaborations including with industry leaders and federal agencies.
• This position is integral to our client's commitment to educating medical students, residents, and fellows in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology.
• The division is well-equipped with a cutting-edge small animal facility that includes PET/CT, SPECT/CT and MRI scanners.
• The ideal candidate will bring not only a robust clinical and operational background but also substantial experience in molecular imaging and theranostics.
• This role offers you the unique opportunity to lead a highly skilled team while actively engaging in interdisciplinary tumor boards and conferences in coordination with the Children's Hospital, the Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Center for Transplantation.
• You will also serve as an Authorized User for the Medical Center, advising on the application of new therapeutic agents and radiopharmaceuticals.
• MD/DO with board certification in Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or Nuclear Radiology (ABR/ABNM).
• Extensive experience in PET/CT, nuclear cardiology, and theranostics.
• A strong record of academic accomplishments, including peer-reviewed publications, and participation in funded research.
• Experience in teaching and mentorship in an academic environment.

• Organization Information:
