Position Summary:

Universal Radiology Partners of Nevada is seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our hospital-based radiology team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, patient-focused, and rapidly growing radiology practice committed to delivering high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing a variety of image-guided and minimally invasive procedures and will collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other medical professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of radiologic procedures including:
    • Paracentesis
    • Thoracentesis
    • Lumbar punctures
    • Myelograms
    • Fluoroscopy exams
    • Breast needle localizations
    • Arthrocentesis (joint aspiration)
    • PICC line placements
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Evaluate and manage pre- and post-procedure care.
  • Accurately document findings, procedures, and care plans in the EMR.
  • Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and communication throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • At least one year of Interventional Radiology (IR) tech experience, with professional references.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current state licensure to practice in Nevada.
  • Prior experience in radiology or interventional radiology strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in independently performing the listed procedures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting.
