Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Summary: A prominent hospital located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking skilled interventional radiology coverage starting August 2025. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide interventional radiology services, including consults and procedures.
- Perform a range of procedures from venous access to DVT/PE work (No neuro IR).
- Participate in a busy schedule requiring consecutive seven-day coverage.
- Engage in weekend and night call responsibilities as needed.
- Document patient interactions and procedures using the Cerner EMR system.
- Collaborate with a supportive staff, including three IR MDs and APPs.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology (required).
- Completion of an Interventional Radiology Fellowship (required).
- Valid Arizona medical license or IMLC (required).
- ACLS certification (required).
- Active DEA registration (required).
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Availability for timely credentialing and prompt onboarding.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Interventional Radiology is required.
- Current Arizona medical license or an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) certificate is required.
- ACLS certification is mandatory.
- DEA certification must be active.
