Looking for an Interventional Radiologist.
• Start of Coverage: May 1, 2025
• Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 08:00-17:00 M-F
• Practice Setting (Office-Clinic/Hospital Based): Hospital Based
• Average Number of Cases Per Day: 10-15
• Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level III
• Number of Exam Rooms: 1 angio suite, 1 procedure CT, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 dedicated US room
• Description of Support Staff: 1 IR technologist, 4 IR nurses, 1 unit assistant
• Use of Teleradiology: We will have AltaVista for midnight reads
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult and Geriatric
• Procedures Required: In-Room Supervision of Fluoro Exams, Scribing Plain Films and Fluoro with Radiologist Assistants
• Interventional Procedures Required: Angioplasty, Stent, Embolization, dialysis fistula intervention, CVAD placement, genitourinary interventions, intrathecal chemotherapy administration
• Interventional Procedures Required: Needle Biopsy, Thrombolysis, drain placement, botox injections, ligament pain injections Employee Health Requirement
a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season
b. Covid documentation - If 24-25 booster has not been received a declination is needed
c. TB - 2 step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months
d. TB Questionnaire
e. Hep B - titer with quantifiable numbers or declination
f. MMR - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers
g. Varicella - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers
h. TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years) Submission Requirements
• BC (American Board of Radiology) no BE
• State license (MI)
• ACLS, BLS
• Must have clean background for quick credentialing Additional License Requirements
• American Board of Radiology ACLS, BLS, - Hep B, MMR, Varicella - vaccine series or immune titer Flu - for current flu season Covid Documentation TB - within 12 months TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)
