Get to Know Your Team: - Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Responsibilities- Perform various tasks involving the operation of radiographic equipment and other devices.
- Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
- Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safety.
- Evaluate images for technical quality exposure and transmit them to PACS.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Technical or Associate's radiography degree
- Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
- Active BLS certification
