Radiologic Technologist

We are currently seeking Radiologic Technologists to join our healthcare team at one of NYC's most prestigious hospital systems at $60-$70/hour. You will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures for diagnostic Radiology and for applying principles of radiation protection while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Stipend/Travel Packages available for Travel Radiologic Technologist candidates. $500 reward for any referrals successfully placed.

Radiologic Technologist Duties Include:
Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors. Adheres to established infection control policies and procedures.
Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; processing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.

Radiologic Technologist Requirements:
ARRT (R) Certification
2+ years prior experience as an X-Ray or Radiologic Technologist preferred
