Shift: Description: Hours Schedule: What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will do- Greet patients and explain procedures.
- Answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures.
- Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures.
- Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique.
- Assist physicians during specialized procedures.
- Evaluate Images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading.
- Complete Health Streams by assigned due date.
- Obtain and maintain competency in accessing and documenting patient information in the automated patient medical record.
- Charge entry and selection of correct charges for services provided. Assures that the charges entered are consistent with services provided and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Utilizes Cerner (Powerchart and RadNet) computer programs and reviews and print results from PowerChart.
What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will need:- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
