The Radiation Oncology Manager will report directly to the Director of Oncology. This person will be supported by their Director, Radiation Therapists and multiple Board Certified Physicians all working together to provide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients. This well developed Radiology Department consists of state of the art technology, servicing a 100+ bed hospital. The Radiation Oncology Manager will join a department that is known for excellent patient care and playing a significant role in diagnostic imaging and early intervention.
The Radiation Oncology Manager will be in charge of overseeing that oncologic radiology interventions provided by staff are efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Director of the Cancer Center and physicians to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital's standards and values. The Radiation Oncology Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
