Radar Systems Engineer
3 year contract Description:

• A radar engineer is needed to participate in development of airborne safety systems and related systems.
• The specific focus of this position is analysis and testing of secondary surveillance systems, and development of the monitoring testbed.

• Much of the work associated with this position will focus on secondary (beacon or IFF) radar systems in general, and the Mode S secondary radar system in particular.
• Experience with Mode S radar systems is highly desirable, and familiarity with the U.S. civilian Air Traffic Control system is a plus. Ideal Background would include some of the following:

• Radar Data Analysis

• Radar Systems Architecture

• Programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar)

• Air Surveillance radar systems Big Bonus:

• Radar Data Processing

• Ground, Maritime, Air, and Space Radar Modeling

• Development experience on a Linux platform

• GIT/GITHUB

• RF

• Radar Signal Processing Development

• Air Traffic Control Radar systems
