Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and motivating Personal Trainer to join our fitness team. What You'll Do As a Personal Trainer with us, you'll play an integral role in our mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals. Examples of work will include:
- Conducting in-depth health and fitness assessments to create personalized exercise plans.
- Leading clients through dynamic workouts, adjusting to their needs, and ensuring proper technique and safety with all equipment (from free weights to cardio machines and specialized Hoist Motion Cage). Locations include the Englewood Recreation Center and the Malley Recreation Center.
- Motivating clients to push past their limits in a supportive, upbeat, and fun environment.
- Keeping clients engaged and excited with a variety of exercises, including cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility exercises.
- Offering professional modifications for exercises as needed, catering to all fitness levels, including those with special needs.
- Tracking progress and providing constructive feedback that helps clients feel empowered and achieve success.
- Ensuring clients have an exceptional experience, every session, every time.
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who:
- Holds current personal training certification from a recognized organization (NASM, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA).
- Is passionate about fitness and helping others reach their full potential.
- Can design innovative, fun, and challenging workout programs for all fitness levels.
- Has strong knowledge of proper exercise techniques and equipment use, including resistance machines, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment.
- Is comfortable working with a diverse clientele, from beginners to advanced athletes.
- Holds current CPR/AED certification and is committed to staying up-to-date with fitness trends through continuing education.
- Is available to work days, evenings, weekends and occasionally at different locations within the community.
