Our client-a world-leading, elite tech-driven trading firm-is assembling a world-class R&D team in London to tackle one of the most demanding engineering challenges on the planet: building systems that operate at exabyte scale with nanosecond precision.

This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented minds in low-latency systems and infrastructure globally - engineers and researchers who are constantly pushing the boundaries of distributed computing, ultra-efficient networking, and high-performance architecture. You'll collaborate in an environment where deep technical expertise, rapid iteration, and precision engineering are not just valued but essential to success.

What You'll Work On

  • Architect and optimise software at the intersection of speedscale, and storage
  • Bring next-gen supercomputing and high-performance networking online-ground-up, in a brand-new data centre
  • Solve real-world systems problems where every microsecond counts, and every line of code impacts performance.
  • Partner with elite researchers, infrastructure specialists, and systems engineers to push beyond conventional limits
  • Co-design hybrid hardware/software systems to accelerate Real Time computation at global scale.

What They're Looking For

  • 2-12+ years of experience in low-level C+, with a strong understanding of performance-critical environments.
  • Hands-on experience working at exabyte scale or within high-throughput infrastructure (Big Tech, HPC, or next-gen infra teams).
  • Deep knowledge of computer architecturenetworking, and storage systems
  • Exposure to kernel-level tuningnetwork stack optimisation, or low-latency distributed systems is a significant advantage.
  • A passion for systems design, optimisation, and building high-performance tooling from the ground up.

If you're excited by the idea of building architectures that push the boundaries of speed, scale, and precision-we'd love to speak with you.
