JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Promote the sale of new and existing product lines through technical presentations.
- Develop concept of Customer's needs through analysis of Customer's operations.
- Assist sales personnel on sales calls to provide technical expertise.
- Assist with technical training of sales and service personnel.
- Summarize Customer needs and assist R&D personnel in qualification testing.
- Assist QA personnel with subcontractor's technical related questions.
- Develop technical promotion schedule for new and existing products.
- Travel to field locations as necessary to assist engineers and support service operations.
- Assist R&D Engineering in design, testing and qualification of existing and new products.
- Manage Product development projects as Project Manager
- Develop expertise on assigned products of VAM USA
- Track product usage & profitability of assigned products
- Build or revise Sales Kits as needed for assigned products (customize for US market)
- Follow market trends and capture new market needs
- Establish and maintain relationships with operator SME's.
- Follow all applicable Company work instructions, procedures and specifications.
- Follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies.
- Follow all Company Safety Rules.
- Any other duties as assigned by Technical Sales Manager or General Manager.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Preferred three years experience as a Product Application Engineer or Technical Sales
- Thorough knowledge of API specifications.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work load and to meet deadlines.
- Strong P.C. and data acquisition skills.
- Must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Must be available for local, long distance and overseas travel.
- Ability to read, write and speak well in English.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
- Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.
