POSITION: R&D Digital Health Product Owner, Digital Strategy
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a R&D Digital Health Product Owner, Digital Strategy with the following duties: Drive product strategy, define product vision, roadmap, analytics and success metrics; Interact with internal and external stakeholders to identify problems, pain points and translate their needs into product requirements; partner with engineering and design to ship functionality that delights users, have the right balance of impact vs engineering cost, and make measurable impact on the business; own product requirement document (PRD), user guide, and product performance reporting; be the single point of contact for key stakeholders including clinical sub teams, partners, business, strategy, engineering, design, QA, operations, and legal; collaborate with R&D, engineering, clinical, medical and other broader teams with a clear product vision to ensure successful delivery of products as per milestones; analyze the product workflows, establish priorities, develop standards and set deadlines; meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and other critical stakeholders to solicit cooperation and resolve problems; consult with end users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements; review product & project plans to plan and coordinate project activities on a day to day basis; produce insights from data and user research to identify potential improvements; work with engineers, designers, and other internal stakeholders to create product specs and implement features; work with product development leads, UI/UX designers, and software developers to lead stakeholders in design sessions for feature prioritization and feedback; present product roadmaps and development progress to business stakeholders in bi-weekly meetings; closely monitor product development activities to ensure that product development aligns with the product roadmap on schedule and within budget; deliver a minimum viable product and work closely with business stakeholders to support them in UAT; be familiar with the compliance, regulatory & data privacy guidelines and implement them together with the product development, by creating and maintaining the documents. 20% remote work allowed.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Business Administration with a major in a related technological or innovation field, Biomedical Engineering, or related field plus 10 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Lead the design & delivery of GxP Digital Health products & solutions across R&D Global Drug Development business functions; Manage cross-functional collaboration across business, technical & vendor groups to successfully deliver & manage patient facing apps & patient portals; Collaborate with business functions to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives & priorities; Conduct bi-weekly & quarterly governance meetings to communicate product development status, key issues and challenges to key business stakeholders; Review product & project plans to plan and coordinate project activities on a day-to-day basis; Prototype visual mockups & design wireframes for mobile apps with user-centered designs; Make structured and concise communication, prepare and present the work to mid/senior level management; Liaise & interact with various internal stakeholders to collect, analyze and document detailed specifications from their high-level business requirements.
Full time. $225,100- $275,600 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
