This position is for a Friday to Tuesday shift Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, representing the Gritman Way.
- Monitor call queue and lobby for wait times or issues.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
- Enter quality phone notes and patient cases.
- Prepare end-of-day deposit reconciliation paperwork.
- Maintain accurate patient accounts and input insurance information.
- Schedule appointments appropriately and collect copays/outstanding balances.
- Respond to simple medical record requests and handle patient concerns/complaints.
- Work with computer programs and multi-line phone systems.
- Demonstrate flexibility and respond to changing workflows.
Job Requirements: - Work Experience: Experience working with computers.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic office functions, excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, positive attitude, ability to work closely with others, critical thinking, flexibility, computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior education and/or experience in a medical office.
Functional Demands: - Population(s) served: Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, diverse demographics.
- Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, some lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, corrected vision and hearing required.
- Environmental Conditions: Indoors, exposure to limited outdoor environment, exposure to public germs and viruses.
