Your role

Quantitative Risk Modeling Data Analyst - UBS Business Solutions US LLC - Morrisville, NC:

•Identify and analyze potential exceptions in quantitative risk model data to ensure regulatory compliance.

•Examine risk factors, conduct monthly exception data analysis, and create detailed reports to present to stakeholders and regulators.

•Coordinate the transfer of highly sensitive quantitative risk model data, ensuring the tactical transfer along with adherence to compliance and audit checks.

•Collaborate cross-functionally to perform data validation checks and monitor risk to ensure the integrity and accuracy of transferred information.

•Leverage software and tools (Python programming) to automate processes, enhance framework efficiency, and reduce manual effort.

•Contribute to stakeholder meetings by applying knowledge of quantitative risk models, addressing inaccuracies and gaps in financial risk data to ensure the precision of calculations that determine the company's capital positions.

•Keep track of team progress and share overall statistics with management using Jira and Gitlab as logging tools.

Your expertise

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering (any), or a related field of study, plus four (4) years of experience with data analysis; understanding financial risk data; Python programming; Jira; and/or, Gitlab.
