About the role, The Quality Test Engineer II position in Quality Assurance is responsible for enhancing QA methodology and ensuring compliance by working with management to improve quality and process standards that result in on-time and efficient delivery of systems.
About the team; This team specializes in developing and managing Firco Insight, a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance customer and third-party screening processes for financial institutions and corporations. Their primary goal is to improve risk detection, reduce false positives, and streamline compliance workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in process improvement and compliance to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification, enabling flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
- Participating in project reviews.
- Cooperating in the enhancement of the methodologies employed for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
- Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and helping to implement initiatives that will improve capability and efficiency.
Requirements;
- Must possess current knowledge of QA methodologies.
- Must be able to document the essential parts of a well written bug ticket/jira/report
- Able to author new tests and maintain existing UI Automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, or related tech)
- Possess current knowledge of process improvement and software development process.
- Have current and extensive knowledge of QA testing methodologies.
