What You'll Do:


  • Foster a safety culture and implement safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work related injuries.
  • Quality Auditing: Quality Management System; Product Audits /Process Audits; facilitate Corrective Actions Manage and develop RCA/Implement Corrective Actions/escalate as applicable.
  • Maintain Plant Quality metrics and Dashboard and participate in Plant Quality Reviews
  • Assure Manufacturing Quality; monitor and review CTQ / SPC/Error Proofing Controls at every level, Assist RCA and implement Corrective Actions and gauge control (calibration, specify, acquire).
  • Data collection/analysis/improvement projects (Green Belt level projects)
  • Assist with the control/monitoring/changes to the Manufacturing Execution System to achieve effective Quality controls/monitoring and improvement
  • Assist with training the plant associates in the QMS and TQM principles
  • Review and report supplier quality issues, as well as review/manage/escalate supplier RCA/corrective actions.
  • Advanced Quality Planning, Plant trials/reports/improvements
  • Support the overall continual improvement of quality efforts for the site to drive increasing quality performance with the customer.
  • Participate and support SSB corporate quality initiatives

What You'll Bring:


Required:

  • Three or more years relevant experience in manufacturing and one in a Quality role
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Statistics, Engineering, Business or other
  • Lean training / certification
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Minitab software or equivalent
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet or database software is preferred.
  • Previous experience training and/or leading others is desired.
