Job Details

SUMMARY:
As our Quality Technician you will manager your own 1 of 4 Value Streams in an auto diecast manufacturing environment.

SHIFT:

• 2nd Shift starting at 2pm

MUST HAVES:

• Program CMM in PC-DMIS
• PPAP
• Blueprints / GD&T
• Excel

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform first piece part approvals.
• Identify the customer products.
• Create instructions for any new product.
• Advise of any updates or work instructions changes.
• Work and train operators to identify quality issues as well as how to use gauges and any other type of measurement instruments.
• Implement and maintain updated measurement instruments and all types of gauges used within the Value Stream.
• Work together with the team members to facilitate and help with any quality issues.
• Implement inspection practices, it will be critical for the maintenance of all quality records.
• Participate in answer corrective actions (SCAR)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ Years of professional Quality Tech experience.
• Experience with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, (procedural improvement) with customer requirements.
• Experienced CMM programming using PC-DMIS,
• Experience reading and understanding Blueprints GD&T
• Experience using measuring instruments.
