Job Details

SUMMARY: As our Quality/Environmental Systems Manager you will be focused on the ISO 14001 Management System. This role does not have direct reports but acts as more of an advisory role.

MUST HAVES:
  • AIAG Manuel's Covering all aspects of Quality such as a measurement systems and process.
  • PPAP, APQP, and FEMA(Need automotive supplier experience)
  • MS Office suites such as Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with either high pressure die casting, Sand casting or other casting production work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing, Implementing, Maintaining, and Improving the ISO 9001:2015 / IATF16949:2016 / ISO 14001 management systems
  • Internal ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 ISO, 14001:2015, audits
  • Supplier Audit and qualifying suppliers to maintain an Approved Supplier Listing
  • Verification of effectiveness of corrective action plans

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • 7+ years of Quality System Management in Aluminum High Pressure Die Casting and CNC Machining is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience MS Word and Excel proficiency required.
  • Must be able to create and manage Excel formula driven workbooks linked to remote tables and arrays.
  • Experience with APQP, new product development, process improvement, metrology, Cost of quality analysis etc.
  • Experience in Cost Reduction and Continuous improvements
  • Ability to perform and fully document Corrective Actions in response to SCAR, 3rd Party Audit, Internal Audit, and Internal Production related:
  • 8-D, 5-Why, 3-Phase 5-Why
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or a firm understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Certification and/or experience with the AIAG Manuals: FMEA, AIAG-VDA FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP
