Quality Systems & Engineering Program Manager

Focus:
- Drive the development and implementation of efficient, scalable assembly and manufacturing processes that support quality, safety, and throughput.
- Lead research, data interpretation, and process innovation to refine best practices in industrial assembly.
- Serve as the department's primary point of contact for equipment performance, process design, and system improvement.
- Oversee creation, maintenance, and optimization of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Analyze data to recommend enhancements to processes, ensuring reduction in waste and maximization of equipment uptime.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and production teams to identify and resolve recurring process issues.
- Own daily engagement strategies such as team huddles and proactive problem-solving forums.
- Train and mentor production personnel on newly introduced processes, best practices, and technical standards.
- Manage quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance with internal and industry benchmarks.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service partners to ensure reliable equipment support and ongoing improvements.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably involving complex mechanical systems or precision assembly.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role with direct people management responsibility.
- Strong understanding of LEAN manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
- Ability to independently drive results while managing multiple projects, teams, and timelines.
- Familiarity with equipment systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC operations, and machine controls.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is a strong plus.
