TRC Talent is seeking a quality systems business analyst for a leading aviation manufacturer in San Jose. This is a fully onsite, contract role with a cutting edge firm. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Systems Business Analyst to join the Quality team. This individual will play a key role in analyzing business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and leading projects to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards to provide insights into quality performance, driving data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows within the Quality department to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Develop new dashboards and reports to track key quality metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Upgrade and optimize existing reporting frameworks to improve data accessibility and visualization.
• Support data integration efforts across multiple systems, including Slack, SAP, Jira, Power BI, Snowflake, Sigma, and Mendix.
• Document and standardize processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Provide training and support to Quality team members on new tools and dashboards.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making iterative improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality, business process analysis, or data analytics role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process optimization.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Sigma.
• Experience with SAP and understanding of ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to driving continuous improvement.
Bonus:
• Experience working in the aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• Prior experience in change management and process automation initiatives.
