Description

The key responsibilites for the Quality Manager are:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Quality Engineering team focused on problem-solving, compliance, and process optimization.
  • Manage and enhance the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) for peak efficiency.
  • Implement a robust internal audit program to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, and AS13100.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to address quality challenges and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) to prevent recurring issues.
  • Develop and report key quality metrics, supporting strategic business decisions.

Profile

The successful Quality Manager candidate will have:

  • Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in regulated manufacturing.
  • 5-8 years of Quality Engineering experience in an aerospace, defense, or similar high-precision industry.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience, mentoring and developing engineering professionals.
  • Strong expertise in ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS13100 standards.
  • Proficiency in auditing, FMEA, PPAP/APQP, and process validation.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and optimizing an eQMS.
  • Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma (highly preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Minitab experience (a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
