About the Role:

We're seeking a Quality Manager to lead all aspects of our quality control and assurance programs in a manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of quality systems, inspections, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality department and ensure consistent product quality from raw materials to finished goods

  • Oversee daily QC/QA activities including inspections, testing, and documentation

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances

  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs such as defect rates, first-pass yield, and customer returns

  • Maintain and continuously improve quality systems, SOPs, and compliance documentation

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to address quality concerns and drive improvements

  • Lead internal audits and manage external audits from customers and regulatory agencies

  • Train and support quality technicians and production teams on quality standards and procedures

  • Interface with customers on quality-related issues, investigations, and reporting

Qualifications:

5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role in quality
Strong knowledge of inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality documentation
Familiar with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar
Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) processes
Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or QMS systems is a plus
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive mindset

Preferred:

  • Quality certifications (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, etc.)

  • Familiarity with customer-specific requirements and industry regulations (e.g., automotive, food, medical)

  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and process capability studies

  • Auditing experience (internal or supplier audits)
