Our client, a world-renowned manufacturer of pharmaceutical equipment and services, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations at their Tonawanda, NY location. What You'll Do: As the Quality Manager, you'll lead a team of professionals to ensure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory standards-helping drive continuous improvement across our systems, processes, and products.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality department, identifying nonconformance and driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ISO9001 and other compliance standards are met.
  • Champion Six Sigma and Lean initiatives to reduce variation and improve process efficiency.
  • Collaborate across teams to support new product introduction, change control, and validation activities.
  • Manage supplier and internal audit programs, including training and compliance follow-ups.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by upholding best practices in SHEQ systems.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Lead department budgeting, resource planning, and performance management.
  • Address quality-related costs through metrics and continuous improvement programs.
  • Stay aligned with global peers and corporate initiatives, fostering standardization where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical, scientific, or engineering field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in quality, operations, or technical environments.
  • ISO9000 Lead Assessor certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, people management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality tools like SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with CGMP, GAMP, and capital equipment environments.
