Quality Manager key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Hands on - on the manufacturing / production floor
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance product quality.
- Manage the Quality team
- Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and advancements to ensure best practices in quality management.
Profile
Successful candidate for the Quality Manager role:
- 10+ Years of experience in Quality and 3+ years of experience in people management
- Extensive experience in manufacturing process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Extensive experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in aerospace or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve measurable results in enhancing product quality.
