The Role

Overall responsibility for quality assurance and control across the business region. Support business leadership to promote best practices in quality assurance, fostering a 'quality' culture across all departments. Provide support to project teams to ensure compliance with Group quality standards and processes.

  • Manage the division's quality management processes to ensure digital construction processes are implemented and maintained.
  • Collaborate with senior production managers to ensure adherence to Berkeley Group quality standards.
  • Develop and implement new quality processes as needed.
  • Assist in tenders and pre-qualification processes, advising on quality risks and best practices.
  • Oversee project quality control plans and their execution.
  • Manage quality aspects of project mobilization, from Building Safety Gateway 1 sign-off to effective translation of quality requirements.
  • Lead the division's audit program, ensuring internal and external compliance checks, including supply chain audits and high-risk reviews.
  • Engage with contractors and participate in supply chain activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate KPI reporting.
  • Facilitate Division's Quality Leadership meetings.
  • Promote a risk prevention culture and continuous improvement at all levels.
  • Drive cultural change and improve business performance to meet strategic goals, embodying company values in all stakeholder interactions.
  • Conduct competency and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Develop and implement internal quality training programs for relevant departments.
Experience Required
  • Degree-level education or Level 6 qualification in a relevant field (preferably construction management or engineering).
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Experience with quality management systems.
  • Strong IT and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging at various levels within the business.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Flexibility and initiative to adapt to different work situations and find solutions.

The standard full-time office hours are 8am-5pm with core hours from 9am-4pm. Due to the role's nature, onsite presence is required 5 days a week.
