You understand process driven manufacturing and can forecast areas of concern or delay to mitigate those concerns in advance. You have experience with Lean manufacturing concepts that you can apply in a growing company. Candidates must be local to the Portland, OR metro area to perform this primarily on site role. Responsibilities:
- Assess current processes and outcomes for efficiency, safety, and quality - make suggestions for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams, management, technicians and more to explain the value of proposed changes and upgrades
- Perform root cause analyses, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions
- Create, manage, and maintain processes, procedures and work instructions
- Perform audits and site safety reviews, including training of staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline
- 3+ years of engineering / quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- ISO 14001, 9001 and/or 45001 experience
Skills:
- Strong Excel and ERP / MRP skills
- Analytical skills with data, statistics, and problem solving
About the role:
- Full Time, Direct Hire
- Mon - Fri; 8a - 5p
- Primarily on site position with some schedule flexibility
- Comp / Benefits - 85-100K DOE; employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k with company match
