Job Type: Full-Time On-Site

Department: Quality

Reports To: Quality Manager

Pay: $34.28 - $44.20 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (occasional weekend support)


About the Role:

As our next Quality Engineer, you'll be the champion behind our Quality Management System (QMS), leading critical initiatives to reduce defects, resolve root causes, and raise the bar for customer satisfaction.


What You'll Do:

  • Develop and enforce quality procedures, inspection criteria, and documentation.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure product compliance and reliability.
  • Analyze production data and quality trends to recommend actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement CAPA strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and assist in supplier development initiatives.
  • Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship on quality systems and best practices.
  • Support initiatives that directly improve customer satisfaction and product integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field
  • (or 5+ years of equivalent industry experience)
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or technical quality environment
  • Proficient in quality tools: FMEA, PDCA, Six Sigma, Lean
  • Skilled in SPC, Minitab, and QMS platforms
  • Excellent communicator and team collaborator
  • Strong analytical and root cause investigation skills

Preferred Extras:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, FAI, FAT, SAT
  • Internal auditing experience
  • Working knowledge of risk management and preventive action systems

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional visits to production floor
  • Standard weekday hours with limited travel
  • Primarily indoor setting with minimal exposure to airborne dust
