Description
The Key responsibilites for a Quality Engineer are:
- Lead Continuous Improvement - Drive initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Perform Key Inspections - Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIR), PPAP, and RCCA to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure Compliance - Maintain and enforce AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - Work closely with design, production, and engineering to uphold quality excellence.
- Audit & Documentation - Conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and develop quality documentation.
- Process Validation - Support special process qualifications to meet aerospace industry standards.
- Training & Support - Mentor team members on quality standards, GD&T concepts, SPC, and Six Sigma tools.
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing with working knowledge of AS9100 & ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in GD&T, SPC, Six Sigma (Greenbelt/Blackbelt preferred).
- Hands-on experience with CMM inspection methods is a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a problem-solving mindset.
