Introduction
We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our client's Engineering and Technical Solutions team at Sizewell B.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership on quality matters within project delivery teams and portfolios, promoting a best-practice culture that drives commitment to quality and encourages continuous improvement across all levels.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system, reporting findings and recommending improvements to ensure project activities meet all relevant procedures and QA requirements.
- Report operationally to the client Project Portfolio Management or equivalent Group Head, with functional accountability to the client Quality Lead. This position has no direct reports.
- All team members are expected to have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments and maintaining high standards of safety and quality culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HNC in a Technical Discipline or equivalent
- Recognised BE EN ISO9001 Internal Auditor Training completed
- Certification as IRCA Auditor/Lead Auditor
- Should be aware of the Site Licence requirements on quality assurance and arrangements required to ensure compliance
- Demonstrated proficiency in Quality Management standards and guidelines including the current versions of BS EN ISO9001
- Working knowledge of the current versions of IAEA GC-R-3, BS EN ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001
- Demonstrated proficiency in Quality Management practices, methods, and processes. This should include experience within Projects Quality
