We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client, a well established Manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet company and regulatory quality standards. You will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain and improve quality systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Document quality assurance activities and maintain detailed reports.
  • Train production staff on quality control measures and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
  • Experience with ISO standards and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality management software (e.g., Minitab, QMS systems).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to product excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and technical drawings.
