Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer located in Euclid, OH. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product quality through design, development, testing, analyzing data, creating reports, troubleshooting issues related to the quality of our products and implementation of quality control systems. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for assisting in Contract Review and Traveler Packet Review activities, Quality Planning including ballooning engineering drawings, creating control plans, and in creation of process aids and related documents.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of product quality standards, quality management principles, and quality control processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Five years inspection and layout experience in a manufacturing environment
- Three years CMM programming / operating experience
- Blue light testing
- Gage Calibration method
- Statistical Methods and Gage R&R
- Technical writing and creation of process documents
- ISO9000-based Quality Management System experience (AS9100 & Nadcap desirable)
