Job DetailsAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, playing a key role in the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes. This role is designed for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products, improve existing processes, and support quality initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
3. Plan and design manufacturing processes for a production facility to optimize the use of available resources and increase production capacity and efficiency.
4. Collaborate with design engineering and other cross-functional teams in product development activities, especially on new product introduction.
5. Conduct PFMEA and other risk assessments in the manufacturing process to identify and mitigate risks.
6. Provide quality support, ensuring that the manufactured products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
7. Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and other manufacturing aids for improved productivity.
8. Implement process improvements to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
4. Proficiency in Solid works for creating drawings and developing models for assembly applications
5. Hands-on experience in fixture design, tooling, and process improvement.
6. Proven experience in new product introduction in a manufacturing environment.
7. Strong understanding of PFMEA and risk assessment tools.
8. Solid experience in providing quality support in a manufacturing setting.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
