Piper Companies is seeking a
Quality Engineer to support an award winning tech company. This position will be in
Durham, NC 3 days a week. The
Quality Engineer will conduct comprehensive testing of web applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and other defects.
Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include:- Develop and execute test cases and test scripts on various applications
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers
- Identify and fulfill any test data needs
Qualifications for the Quality Engineer include:- 2-4 years of experience as a Manual Quality Engineer with some knowledge of QA Automation scripting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Web testing and an API testing background, Playwright experience preferred
- Possess the ability to run some automated testing but the role is predominately manual testing
- Experience in test designs, test plans
- Strong SQL skills
Compensation for the Quality Engineer include: - Salary Range: $97,000-110,000
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
