QUALITY ENGINEER - METAL FINISHING
Dynomax, Inc is a family owned company that designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to work on continual improvement to enhance the company's NADCAP accredited Metal Finishing Quality System.
Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer - Metal Finishing
- Support Metal Finishing related audits by coordinating third party audits, audit preparation, and using RCCA process to resolve audit findings
- Resolve Customer, Internal, and Supplier failures using the RCCA process
- Complete Contract Review, Risk Analysis, and Quality Planning
- Ensure Metal Finishing processes and related documents are compliant with standards and specifications, including performance of gap analysis
Job Requirements for the Quality Engineer Metal Finishing
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience
- Experience in a specification-heavy industry such as Automotive, Medical, or Aerospace
- Understanding of gages and measurement in close tolerance work environment
- Working knowledge of Drawings, Routers, Procedures and Work Instructions
- Experience with the RCCA - Root Cause Corrective Action Process
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining and assembly
Preferred Experience for the Quality Engineer Metal Finishing:
- Knowledge of NADCAP quality systems and auditing process
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry quality processes (AS9100, First Article Inspection, Risk management, RCCA)
- Working knowledge of Metal Finishing processes, methods, and techniques
- Working knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing processes, methods, and techniques
